My boyfriend and I are both doing the P90 workout program, but instead of following their eating plan he thinks its ok to have only one meal a day and still get the same results….. during workouts instead of water he drinks coca cola, and as a meal he’ll have hot dogs or something equally fattening…. Please help him

he needs fiber and protein… if you just eat one unhealthy meal you’ll probably feel worse throughout the day and have less energy. eating fruits, vegetables, and meat would be good and water would definitely be better than coke.

the reason why people drink water while working out is to get negative calories. Because if you work out and drink water your burning calories your boyfriend however is consuming them while excersising, and unless he’s running or doing the elyptical machine for at least 30 minutes he’s not even burning that one can of coke off.
he’s wasting his time drinking soda. everyone is. its just more calories you have to burn. eating 3 healthy meals a day is ten times better than one fattening greasy meal that isn’t good for your body.

It might work for him in the short term, but when he gets terrible skin, flatulance, his teeth start crumbling etc and later in life, osteoporosis and alzheimer’s because of the lack of nutrients in his diet he might not be so pleased with the reulsts
