The H.E.A.L. (Healthy Eating and Living) Program was created after watching my children appreciate and gain the benefits of a healthy lifestyle due to healthy food choices and physical fitness. The purpose of this program is to motivate individuals to adopt healthier lifestyles by eating more fruits & vegetables, drinking plenty of pure water & exercising daily.
Our Mission is to improve the health and well being of individuals by encouraging them to understand the importance of making healthy food choices to extend the quality of life and reduce health problems and obesity. We will fulfill this mission through education, advocacy, training opportunities and physical activities

Reduce obesity rate & health issues due to unhealthy food choices
Raise youth health awareness & promote health literacy
Teach people how to purchase healthy foods on a budget
Demonstrate healthy food presentation & preparation
Teach individuals how to read ingredient labels
Limited access to healthy & quality foods lead people to consume unhealthy, quick-fix boxed and fast foods far too often, therefore, we plan to show them how to grow healthy foods in their very own backyard.
Outcomes
With these healthy components implemented, we can increase healthier family units, neighbors, communities, cities, states, regions, nations and definitely the world while reducing the occurrence of obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol levels, and other health related problems due to poor eating habits.
