i cannot do that with any other raw fat , but for some reason YCs digest and assimilate very well with me

@joyousabundance

Dont worry or get down on yourself, its a process and takes some time. You will go back and forth in the beginning, and slip up, its ok, over time as you are bringing in more and more fresh raw food, especially if you are Juicing

this all gets easier and easier and your body will ask for the best food and you will not even need any will power or effort

Keep going you’re doin great ; )

I am still craving …
I am still craving (and giving in) to cooked foods. I loved the idea that you gave about eating the raw foods first, even if you know you’re gon’na give in to the craving. You’re the best Dan. Love, Terri.

I found that eating fruits and veggies first when I bacame really hungry, over a short space of time resulted in my body and mind naturally starting to crave fruits and vegetables to satisfy the hunger. no effort

@ dlamb333

May I ask what you served, as far as the raw foods went? This sounds great, and it was nice you ‘allowed’ the others to eat as they wished! .’)

If you’re eating …
If you’re eating raw, or even just dieting, and you feel like you’re suffering then you are doing something wrong. I can tell you that you don’t have to suffer and you can still get the results if you give your body what it needs. Listen to your body…

Anythingwilldo41 July 16, 2010 at 2:02 pm

ty. Don’t bother …
ty. Don’t bother with the video, I believe you.

I don’t think I can ONLY eat 1oz of nuts lol.

blackmarketfitness July 16, 2010 at 2:02 pm

That’s great …
That’s great brother. I am really enjoying my raw food right as I leave this message. I made a video of my preparing some veggy’s for the week, I hope you wont mind if I post a video response. =)

dlamb333 July 16, 2010 at 2:02 pm

This was my first …
This was my first 100% raw Christmas dinner too! I cooked turkey dinner for the rest of the family..no problem, but I do have an issue with over eating still. I didn’t have a hard time at all transitioning over to raw foods( it’s been 9 months now, 100% raw), but I still struggle with eating too much.

ucandothis1 July 16, 2010 at 2:02 pm

It is better to eat …
It is better to eat small amounts of avocados, nuts and seeds, and not to eat them daily. There is more than adequate fat for the body from fruits, vegetables and leafy greens. End Quote

So 1oz of nuts OR 5oz of an avocado OR 1oz of sunflower seeds every few days would be enough fat. If you ate 1 oz of Walnuts 2x/week that would be about $1.50/wk. This would be for a 2000 cal/day diet of raw fruits and veges. I will see if I can find a youtube video on this for you.

ucandothis1 July 16, 2010 at 2:02 pm

This is a quote …
This is a quote from Dr. Doug Graham: Avocados, nuts and seeds are extremely high in fat content. When it comes to fat, it doesn?t matter so much its origin; fat is fat. Fat goes from the lymph system directly into the blood. Too much fat will thicken the blood, causing the red blood cells to clump together so they cannot deliver oxygen to the cells. Excess fat also blocks the action of insulin in bringing sugars to the cells, which leads to diabetes.

You can lead a …
You can lead a horse to water…

No need to attempt to save the world. But you can help those who wish to listen.

Great message, as usual!!
Hope you had a wonderful Holiday!

I hope I’m through …
I hope I’m through screwing up. I’d like to get from A (where I;m at now) to B (Slim & Healthy) this year, without taking detours and the scenic route. Today I started at ‘A’ and am doing raw food detox. I included some raw nuts, hope thats fine! YAY! Another fantastic video, Dan – I dig it!!!!!
