Losing belly fat to expose your 6-pack requires two things, good nutrition and exercise. Most people who start on weight loss programs do pretty well on the exercise but fail miserably on the nutrition. Contrary to what you might think, most people fail because they are too ambiitious and too impatient. They cut their calories back so much that they are STARVED. Of course I know sources of protein, what I meant was a recomendation in scoobys point of view of what would ” taste” good in his opinion for the particular recipe suggested in his calculator , I would be a pretty poor veggie & not have survived very long if I didnt know “actual” sources of protine! :-)

scooby,it is a fact that muscle is more active tissue than fat.so,the more muscle you have,the more calories you burn.so,when you calculate the metabolic rate from you weight ,he fat percentage you have must be taken in the equation.it is not the same metabolic rate for an 180 pounds man with 5% body fat and an 180 pound man with 30% body fat

Are there any benefits or detriments by using honey as a sweetener for some meals? Are there sweeteners that you recommend?

You are a vegetarian so you should know what to eat for protein……..

Can’t post link I guess, so just google or search for vegetarian proteins. Click on sixth link vegetarianvoice.

A lot of vegetarian sources of protein are not as absorbable as non vegetarian proteins. You will need to check if the protein source for your meal is going to have a high absorption ratio, if not you will need to take in more protein than what’s described in the meal plan.

This is wrong….. You shouldn’t eat based off ratios, you should figure out your actual protein needs to resist muscle loss during the recomp. Then get your needed fats, and fill in the remaining calories with carbohydrates. Don’t make up diets based off of ratios, that’s just stupid.

I do like how it gives you how much to eat of what dynamically though!

Hey Scooby, you are actually an awesome person. I’m 18 and I’m 6ft 4 but I weigh like 88 Kg, which is a bit too much, I’m not “fat” but I’m a bit bigger then I want to be, especially on the belly. @bulletfun i’m not bodybuilder but i can assure you if i wanted to be one i would be successful .. i’m busy person with work and family but all of my life i been playing soccer and doing pushups and pullups .i’m a member at the gym and i’m all natural.. 210 lbs 6.2.. i’m not fat but anyway.. this guy is good man i give him that.. he helps people but there is no way somebody can tell me he that he don’t use steroids or something.

Ok then. But i am doing alot of cardio, about 2 hours of jogging ever day and i weigh 117 kilos and 185 cms. how much should i eat so i only loose 1-2 pounds a week ?
