In partnership with FaveHealthyRecipes, Induction friendly snack ideas are always popular ideas. Fried pickles have been a frequent request of viewers. I hadn’t ever purchased them from the bars, but my wife and daughter have. They say these pickles are every bit as good as the ones found there. The even better news is that these are fast and easy to make.

For even more low carb friendly appetizer recipes, FaveHealthyRecipes has a large section of low carb snacks. ( http://www.favehealthyrecipes.com/snacks)

I am not a big fan of using Soy oil. It is highly refined and Canola oil has many of the same problems. That’s just my perspective though.?

she is about 1 hour …
she is about 1 hour away – she has a small fridge and has access to an oven. I was going to buy her a small freezer? and stock up on chicken, fish, ground beef and bags of frozen veggies and we are sending her with canned tuna, chicken, and salmon – I do have a hot plate to send with her – she said that so many of the kids are trying to cook instead of getting a meal plan that the oven is usually being used. The place that she stays at has one microwave and one oven for 20 people.

My daughter is going to college too this week, Is she staying in a dorm room? ? Does she have access to a dorm fridge and a hot plate or microwave? I had a similar sort of situation when I had to attend military training for a couple months in the winter of 2006. I was able to make it by with just convection oven and a dorm fridge. How far is she from home?
