What foods to cut in your diet to lose weight roughly fast?

January 19th, 2013 Leave a comment Go to comments

What foods being cut out in your diet is a ver quick way to helping you lose weight fast? Eg. Fries, doughnuts etc.
Thanks!

I’ve lost 2 pounds since this morning. I biked 5 miles in the morning and ate mostly fruits and veggies (except for a banana muffin) today. Now, the muffin I could’ve left out of my diet (but I didn’t want it to spoil). A majority of your diet should be fruits and veggies. You can still eat brown rice, chicken, and fish. Cut out soda and high sugary drinks, and stick mostly to water.

Don’t forget to exercise, as accompanied with a healthy diet, will promote weight loss. Happy weight loss!

    Most highly processed foods
    White bread
    White sugar
    Chocolate
Ice Cream is one of the worst, often labelled as low fat. But they dont mention the high sugar content do they.
Oh and alcohol. 1 gram of fat has 8 calories. 1 gram of alcohol has 9 calories. One large glass of wine 400calories.

Anything with too much oil can be cut (like fried food)
Anything too high in sugar can be cut (like coca cola and other sodas)
Anything too high in fat can be cut (junk food like cheap burgers from mac etc)
Also you must cut down a bit on carbohydrates in the evening, like bread and such.Only eat these in the morning.

Chicken breast is always a good choice to replace other meat as it is less fatty.Fish like tuna is also good. And beans are ok.

"Roughly fast" – I like that!

I think the best approach to losing weight is to ask yourself what foods should I add to my diet instead of taking away. It’s psychological in that you are thinking of positive things that you can eat instead of the negativity of having to give up things. I started out by substituting one meal at a time, but I see that you are "roughly" in a hurry, so you might want to concentrate on healthy foods that you like to eat and that you can begin eating right now.

I always found it best to just eat simple wholefood meals. Example: a meal with as much fresh fruit that feels you up; large veggie salads with EVOO and lemon on it; fruit smoothies; green smoothies (don’t let the name fool ya – they taste great!); baked sweet potatoes with real butter and honey (raw and organic if you can get it) on it (great for the sweet tooth and it feels ya up); lightly stir-fried veggies over whole grain rice; etc. The more complicated the preparation of your food is, the hardier it seems to stick to eating healthy.

The more raw plant-based diet you eat, the better off you’ll be – lose weight, and be healthy. Toxins start being eliminated and you feel like you can take on the world! Good luck in your weight loss journey! 😉
