What type of diet should an adult with a significant upper respiratory infection be on?

For example, like a bland diet, soft diet, etc. I have NO clue. Please help & thank you.

Did you know that although asthma has been found to be a disease that hit young children until before they turn ten, it can also make an adult’s life so difficult? When a person suffers from an asthma attack, they are seriously in trouble because their life is greatly at risk. An asthma attack is not something that should be taken lightly considering that most of those who are suffering from an asthma attack find it difficult to breathe because there is a constriction in the chest.
