How do I not gain weight after crash dieting?

I’ve been doing the ‘elimination diet’ for two weeks and i’ve lost ten pounds, but i regret doing it as i’m sure it’s messed up my metabolism and I now know it was stupid. But instead of telling me how stupid I am, please can someone tell me what i can do not to put it all back on again? And maybe sugget a better diet? Thanks!

No matter how hard you try your weight will eventually go back on after such extreme dieting! Sorry!

Well, you have to very slowly, up your caloric intake….very slowly. Do like a hundred calories a week. So if you are eating 1200 now, do 1300 next week, etc. And a better diet? Eat enough, but eat healthy and eat 5 to 6 small meals a day because that will keep your metabolism up high. A woman cannot eat less than 1500 calories a day. So eat at least that. And do some exercise 🙂

The simple answer is that you can’t avoid weight gain after a crash diet, by its very nature it messes up your system. The only way to try and fight it is to keep to a healthy low fat diet and bump up your exercise- not every day, but maybe every 3 days to start. Don’t stick rigidly to a low cal diet, let yourself have a bit of a "bad" day where you exceed your calorie intake but keep it low fat..this stops your body going into starve mode where it hangs onto fat as it thinks you are starving.
