How much can overeating ruin your diet?

December 28th, 2012 Leave a comment Go to comments

I’ve been dieting the past few weeks, exercising a bit, and noticed results. However, yesterday I took took the day off, and had many unhealthy foods rounding up to probably around 3500 calories. I ate ~2000 before. How much weight do I gain out of this and how much does this ruin my diet?

3,500 calories in a pound. so you put on less than a half pound. It probably cancelled out more than one day of diet and exercise though.

oh, you went just 1500 calories over, and 2000 was what you we’re eating before, is that how many calories you burn a day?
or is that the ammount you do when dieting?
anyway, you won’t gain a pound, half of a pound maybe, i heard it’s good to have a little cheat once in a while, first of all it keeps you from getting to insane on your diet, second, your body is expecting the same ammount of calories that u always eat so it will start only burning around that..which leads to your diet just sticking at once place (no weight loss for a long ammount of time)
so this kinda reved up your metabalism and confused it again, so once u start back on ur diet tomorrow you’ll make up for whatever you did today 🙂
dont worry so much, everyone has cheat days…

    Hello there

Well, if this is not a regular thing that you’ve been doing, then I guess it will not ruin your diet.

Do you have a weight loss program? If you don’t have, I suggest you visit http://www.goweightlossdiets.com

    Good Luck!!
