What are some diet pills that work without diet or exercise?

December 18th, 2012 Leave a comment Go to comments

What are some diet pills where I can lose about 10-15 lbs a week that dont require a lot of exercise or diets?

No diet pill is safe because diets are not healthy. Just eat right, exercise and don’t be lazy about it. If you lose 15 pounds for the week you need it and eat the same crap you always eat the week after, you will put it back on. What’s the use of that? Make it a health issue not just a "look good for now" issue.

Trimspa. It works nicely. Just don’t eat too much fast food but eat whatever and don’t exercise besides that.

Diet pills are the most unhealthy thing you can do–the best way to lose weight is by eating right–(no fast food), and exercising even if you just walk around the block. I do crunches every night and walk around the block. i also make sure i eat 3 good meals a day and have fruit for snacks. I am in good shape have good energy and my weight is where i want it. diet pills may work now but in the long run when your older you will have lots of health problems.

becareful what you put into your body–YOU ONLY GET 1!!!

diet pills do not work in the long run. and 10 lbs is an unreasonable amout to lose in one week. just cut out junk food and excercise . the best way to lose weight is slowly.

Porkney, There isn’t a pill or a diet that will cause you to lose 10-15 a week. Even a starvation diet won’t do that for you. You have to replace your bad eating habits with good ones and get moving. You have to use more calories than you ingest. There is no quick fix.

Sweetie, you’re not going to find any magic pill that will do that for you. The only way you are going to lose weight is through diet and exercise. The only things those pills are gonna do for you is give you a ton of energy and get your heart pumping very fast so that you will have a more intense feeling workout. If you listen closely on the commercials it says, *whispers quickly* "Lose 20 lbs in 2 weeks with diet and exercise." If you take the pills and don’t exercise you will only experience mood swings and shakiness. You will be more proud of yourself if you workout, and why not go buy a few cute gym outfits instead of the useless pills. Here is more info on what you should do instead. You’ll feel healthier and happier in the long run and you’ll see results in one-two weeks this way…

Getting rid of fat in general, building lean muscle, and defining your physique is 60% diet, 30% exercise, and 10% mental thought. You must eat the right foods, exercise more often than you don’t, burn more calories than you consume, think and speak positively about yourself, try making life as stress free as possible, and get rest so that your body can repair itself.

Portion control is the key to reaching your goal. You don’t want to over-eat. A portion should be the size of your fist. Meals should consist of one portion of carbohydrates and protein, and a portion of fat (is: a handful).

Carbohydrates: Apples, Bananas, Blueberries, Raspberries, Strawberries, Mangos, Pineapple, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Celery, Carrots, Broccoli, Asparagus, Green Beans, Sweet Potatoes, Corn, Steel Cut Oatmeal, Whole "Grain" Bread.

Protein: Egg Whites, Salmon, Tuna, Halibut, Chicken Breasts, Lean Ground Turkey, Turkey Breasts, Protein Powder, Protein Bars (Power Crunch Bar, Cliff Builder Bar) You don’t want a high calorie, high fat, high sugar bar. The two I listed are good ones, and they taste great too!

Fat: Organic Peanut Butter, "Raw" Almonds or Walnuts, Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing. (Only consume a handful of nuts, with your breakfast, lunch, and dinner.) Fats help with digestion.

You want to have 4-5 small meals per day. 2-3 hours apart. You will never go hungry and your metabolism will not slow down. Stop eating 2-3 hours before bed. If possible get 8 hours of sleep, this plays a major role in losing belly fat.

    Meal Planning: (Preparation is key.)

Meal 1: Protein, Carbohydrate, Fat (1 bottle of WATER)
Meal 2: Protein shake or bar (A glass of WATER)
Meal 3: Protein, Carbohydrate, Fat (1 bottle of WATER)
Meal 4: Protein shake or bar (A glass of WATER)
Meal 5: Protein, Carbohydrate, Fat (1 bottle of WATER)

Drink half of your weight (or more) in oz. of water per day.
(ex: 120lbs = drink 60oz. of water per day-or more.)

Exercise: (Arrange this plan to fit your schedule).

Mon- light weights upper body, 30-60 min cardio, and abs
Tue- cardio 60 minutes (power walk, run, elliptical, etc.)
Wed- light weights lower body, 20-30 min cardio, and abs
Thu- cardio 60 minutes (power walk, run, elliptical, etc.)
Fri- light weights upper body, 30-60 min cardio, and abs
Sat- cardio 60 minutes (power walk, run, elliptical, etc.)

It’s important to sign up to a gym, perhaps get a workout partner/personal trainer it offers motivation.

This is my plan that I have made after doing research. It has worked for me, and I’ve helped friends lose weight this way! If you stick with it, it eventually becomes a lifestyle. If you are going to eat junk food, do it in moderation. Eventually you won’t even crave it.I like to keep my diet as natural and organic as possible. Multivitamins are also a good idea, just to help strengthen your immune system.

If you are looking for a health book that offers more information on food, fitness, meal planning, and motivation; I am a big fan of the "Body-for-LIFE" book as well as the "Eating-for-LIFE" cookbook both written by, Bill Phillips. It is what got me where I am today, living a healthy and satisfying life.

There is also a great website: http://www.fitday.com
FitDay is a free online diet and weight-loss journal. The FitDay journal allows you to track your diet and activities with no guess work. This lets you take control of your diet and fitness and achieve your fitness goals.

If you have any additional questions or just want someone to talk with, feel free to e-mail me! I love talking about this stuff as you can see!

I think the only way to accomplish that is amphetamines. So go to your local middle school and find some spazy kid to buy ritalin off of.

Just kidding. Looking for a magic diet pill is the worst way to lose weight. You will just gain it back when you stop taking them. It’s much better to try and change your lifestyle. Little things like drinking your coffee black, not searching for the closest parking spot, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, choosing water over soda etc.. really do add up. I also found that I lost more weight when I stopped eating processed foods. I have to be a little less lazy, but I try to eat mostly fresh fruit and veggies, whole grains and meat that doesn’t come in a can instead of the CPK frozen pizzas and canned foods I was eating. When you make it yourself it’s much healthier. They are always sneaking in sugar and hydrogenated fats. If I make my own marinara I know it doesn’t have corn syrup in it.

There are these diet pills called "Give me your money", they work great…you dish over all your money and take the pills only to notice that the reason you weigh less is because all your money is gone. There are other pills called "I work as much as you do". They work great too! You take them while you’re sitting on the couch, eating and watching tv, and they might help you not put more weight on!

Seriously, diet pills have varied effects on your body depending on what they are made with. They are meant to "assist" not do the job FOR you. If you’re looking to burn extra calories on top of your workout, then they can help burn a few extra here and there. If you’re not willing to do any exercise then you have to eat better and/or eat less. One pound equals 3200 calories. If you’re just going to pop diet pills, you’re going to waste your money because you have NO idea how many extra calories they are burning. Even if it burnt an extra 100 calories a day, you’d have to wait over a month to lose one pound. At least exercise has been tested and can gauge approximatly how many calories they burn.

Over the counter (OTC) diet pills are considered as food supplements, and their use is unregulated. However, these are very popular and people continue to use them without considering the adverse side effects. Prescription diet pills are useful for severe obesity problems. These pills are regulated and their side effects are monitored. Some of these pills are Meridia (Sibutramine), Xenical (Orlistat), Adipex, Bontril, Didrex, Phentermine and Tenuate. Xenical is a lipase inhibitor, decreasing fat absorption by 30% resulting in a lower calorie intake. These pills will not be effective for losing weight , if a conventional weight loss plan is also not followed.
