What diet programs have worked for you?
I just wondered which diet programs and/or fad diets have worked for other people. I don’t have a problem exercising, but I always struggle with eating which makes me lose weight incredibly slow. I need to lose 67 pounds and am planning on starting a plan soon and just wanted some feedback. Thanks!
Low carb worked for me. It also helped me stay relaxed and happy. But no diet can work without exercise.
Fad diets dont work….you need 5-6 days of intense cardio and a diet high in protein and low in fat….i eat tuna in springwater alot cause the protein makes you feel fuller for longer and is super healthy

Weight Watchers worked for me. I lost over 60 pounds and kept it off for nearly 5 years, but then I had to travel with my job 5 days a week for a year and a half, so put much of the weight back on.
I’m back on a weight loss program but one that I am doing on my own with what I learned from weight watchers.
Below is a link to several weight loss programs and reviews on each of the programs. This may help you decide which one you want to try.

The only thing that works for me is my own self-designed diet – plenty of homemade pureed soups, lots of fish, lots of rye toasts, shrimp, and salad.
For my friends, they’ve had a lot of success on Weight Watchers. My three friends have each lost 70 lbs (started at 320), 40 lbs (started at 195) and 25 lbs (started at 170). The first girl gained back all her weight, but the other two have only gained back 5 or so pounds in the last three years.
My best friend uses slim-fast, but it’s never permanent. She drinks it instead of lunch and loses around 1-2 lbs/week. She gains it back really fast, though.

Its not really a diet program, but I would suggest trying strip that fat. Its more of a guide to teach to eat strategically. I like it b/c it doesn’t leave me starving like other diets. I found that eating frequent small meals actually keeps me pretty satisfied and I don’t overeat like I used to. Plus you get to eat carbs =)
It also tells you how to excercise efficiently.
If you are looking for a quick fix fad diet, then this is not it. You are going to have to put some work in, but it is definately worth it! Good luck.
I’ve tried it and it worked pretty well. I’ve lost about 15 lb in 6 weeks. If you’re interested, check for more info:

I struggled to get the last of my pregnancy weight off (yeah I know my avatar is a bloke but this is my boyfriends account..really should get my own!) and so decided to follow strip that fat and i am back down to normal size and maintaining..despite eating lots.
Its different to other programs out there only in that although it gives short term results, it has a section after this to help you maintain the diet – its a lifestyle change really. When I was looking for other diets online they all seem to work short term but are really unsustainable long term. Strip that fat is a sustainable diet…and will really help you with nutrition.
