What is the best and worst diet you have been on to lose weight?
I am interested to know what diets people have found to be the best for them and the worst for them.
So first of all which diet did you find was horrible for you?
And which diet do you find was the best and was very effective for you?
Forget all the daft fad diets. Here is old know-all’s famous and patented fig and apricot diet guaranteed to lose 2 stone in a fortnight (even if you didn’t have the 2 stone to start with)
Get in a sack of dried apricots and a sack of dried figs.
Day 1
Breakfast: a bowl of figs and apricots followed by bacon, sausage, egg and hash browns then by toast marmalade and figs and apricots.
Mid morning: a cup of coffee with a large slice of fig and apricot cake.
Lunch: Roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, peas, cauliflower and roast potatoes, followed by stewed apricots and figs with custard
Supper: Send out for a pizza. Wash it down with nine pints of Stella and all the apricots and figs you can manage.
Before retiring, place the sacks with the remaining figs and apricots at the front of the food cupboard. And put a couple of toilet rolls in the fridge..
Day 2 – 7 Don”t worry about eating – you’ won’t be able to stay out of the bog long enough.
Week 2: Every time you feel peckish, you’ll go to the food cupboard, see the remaining sacks of figs and apricots and you won”t feel hungry any more.
I like doing the 500 calorie diet- I lost 10 lbs in 1 week. The worst I’ve done was the ABC diet, but right now I’m on the negative diet

ok if you want to plan out a whole day set times… like (this is me you set your own)
10:00 Oatmeal with one pack of splenda, bananas, walnuts and cinnimon.
1:00 snack, either a cup of celery, baby carrots or you could do yogurt if you like it. just a snack.
4:00 A turkey and lettace sandwich, or a salad.
7:00 another snack someting similar.
and one more healthy snack before bed
Green tea is VERY good for you. just set times, eat healthy and you will lose, this is how i eat and i have lost 10 pounds in two months 🙂 love it! and i dont exercise… but i take a belly dancing class once a week. Good luck!

Cabbage soup diet,absolutley diabolical,but it works.Instead of just cabbage add other vegetables and some tomato puree,hey it works.But do not stay on it for too long.wean yourself to other light meals.Good Luck

worst: soup diet. i ate just tomato soup and milk for 2 weeks.i heard an actor did it to lose weight quick for a movie. and it worked for him. it was awful and i never want to see tomato soup again. and unhealthy. never again. please dont crash diet.
best: eating healthier and controling portions and lowering calorie intake and exercising daily. i try not to eat anything super sugary, or lots of saturated fat, and instead of "white" foods like sugar or white bread i eat whole grains. I eat what i want but less portions. and i cutting overall calories (so i burn the same or more calories from working out as much as i eat)
everyone no matter ur weight should workout everyday. i run everyother day and on the other days i do yoga. this is working so well and i feel great and am losing pounds and maintaing weight and blah blah blah.

i like the slim fast diet the first couple of days your hungry but after that it fills you up. and its cheap too! happy days! x
