why do raw food diets for cats contain vegetables and fruits?

I have read that cats do not need fruits and veges in their diets and they derive very little nutrition from them… Why do most organic raw food diets contain these unnecessary ingredients then?

I make my own homemade raw food (catinfo.org) and there are no vegetables or fruits.
The reason manufactures add veggies and fruits is because they are cheaper and humans think it is good.
My cats haven’t had fruits or veggies all their lives and they are healthy and happy.

Most humans think fruits/veggies = good because they’re good for us. That’s what sells.

I feed a raw prey model diet to my pets, no veggies grains or fruit
