How long will it take me to lose 15-20 pounds?

I am a 17 yr old female trying to lose weight. I am 5’3 and weigh 135. my goal is to get to 120. I am exercising (hopefully) everyday and eating a healthier diet. I am not crash dieting, starving myself, or spending mad money on weight loss programs. Just exercise and healthy eating. About how long will it take me to lose this weight? 1 month? 3 months? a year?

15-20 pounds can be lost in about 7-10 weeks,
healthy weight loss is about 1-2 pounds a week, any more than that could mean that something is wrong with your body or that you are using unhealthy methods to lose weight
I wouldn’t count on 15 pounds in 7 weeks, but it is possible. I would probably say closer to 15 weeks or more (just to be realistic)

    I can’t give you an educated guess, but I would say two pounds a week isn’t unreasonable. You are making a wise choice by losing that way!

    if u continue as you say cutting out snacks and eating healthily, go to the gym over 3 tomes a week for at least an hour session , i did this for 2 weeks and lost 12 lb
    so good luck it shouldn’t take you any more than a month if u persevere
