As promised, here’s my video on how I eat healthy organic food on a strict budget! My budget for this video was 80 dollars, but if you follow this method, you should be able to figure out a way to get everything you need for the week, no matter what your budget is.

There are also handy tips in the video on what types of organic foods to look for! Hope you enjoy!

    Also, buy stuff …
Also, buy stuff when it’s on sale and stock up on non- perishable items like soap, toilet paper, canned items, and cleaning supplies. Buy the largest box of laundry? detergent, which can last a family of four about 6 months and save you money. At least that’s how I do it.

    These are great …
These are great tips for everyone! Thank you for sharing. I would also add always doing your grocery shopping when you’re not hungry. I can see how $84 may seem expensive for some, but one needs to take into consideration that you were buying for 2 people. So? in reality it was a budget of $42 per person for a week. $42 รท 7 days = $6 a day รท 3 meals = $2 per meal per person. That sounds very affordable to me. Nontheless, in order to take advantage of all these savings you will need to cook. : )

    When you find meats …
When you find meats on? sale.. You can buy in bulk and take home re-wrap and freeze! You will find at times when shopping after holidays your meats and some veggies are at a wonderful price! If you find veggies on sale too.. I love to buy and roast these then freeze or can. Shopping on a budget can be easy. Practice make perfect ๐Ÿ™‚

    Yes I agree 84$ a …
Yes I agree 84$ a week is high for some. I have had to shop @ 40 dollars a week. Dried beans is awesome! Buying a while chicken is such a cost effective way to have meat for the week. Many are afraid of ox tail or ham hocks which are so Delicious to and to your bean meals. Making a huge pot of greens for the week is cost effective and so yummy too. if you have any questions on inexpensive meals or have a taste for something & need a recipe just send me a message. My Mother taught me well :)?

    I’ve been shopping …
I’ve been shopping like this for years. I did fall off the wagon, but since I’ve been out of work since I had my daughter back in January ( I went into heart failure and haven’t been released to go back by my cardiologist yet), my husband and I found? ourselves on a really tight budget. We went grocery shopping 2 nights ago and I kept track of how much everything was when we were out and we stuck under out 100 dollar budget and left paying only 75 dollars.
