Can you help me find websites with recipes that are safe for diabetics?

January 21st, 2013 5 comments

My mom is having a hard time keeping her sugar in check, she is watching her diet, but don’t eat enough, in fear of her sugar going to high. Even though she isn’t eating alot, the doctor still had to raise her meds. Any websites about diet, exercise, and recipes would help alot. I have only found one site that had a few recipes that she enjoys. I am at nerves end here, and really need help.

Here are a few sites that I have found for you. How sweet of you to take an interest in helping your mother deal with her diabetes. You don’t say if you live at home, but if you do, you could encourage her by cooking some for her and eating the same things that she eats.,2857,FOOD_26656,00.html

What are some of the most effective diet pills?

January 3rd, 2013 5 comments

I’m going to Cali on soon and I am about 40 pounds overweight. I have been dieting and exsersizing with no results. I know there are alot of useless uneffective diet pills and I’m just wondering if anyone can suggest any that are safe and actually show results.

Hiya, In my line of work, it is easy to comfort eat, especially when there’s a deadline to meet and you’re under lots of stress. Finding time for the gym or cooking healthy food was not something I ever really found time to think about. I had never even realised that I’d become so large until someone I knew well, who I hadn’t seen me for a while no longer knew who I was.

Premium Acai Slim has just given me that added help and support to know that I can now lose and maintain my weight. Losing weight has made me feel so much more confident and I really go out of my way, to ensure I stay healthier, through my diet, healthy exercise and by taking Premium Acai Slim. I cannot recommend this product enough to you all! I feel and look ten years younger.

After doing a quick google search i found this which might interest you.

which has some discount to try premium acai slim… go for it give it a shot!!

How do you make meal planning easy for your family?

December 2nd, 2012 6 comments

Do you throw it together last min, have rotating weekly meal plan etc, my son has food intollerances and i am looking for a way to make meals easier, there are 5 of us, my son with intollerances is 5, my 17month old eats what my son eats, my 12yr old daughter sometimes eats what my partner n i eat, or something else, so sometimes i cook 3 seperate meals!! There has got to be an easier way?? Any ideas please would help??

try to find meals that you can easily remove or substitute thing for your son’s allergies/intolerances.

my sister in law has one daughter that is allergic to wheat and soy products (my sister is too) and another daughter who is allergic to dairy!!! dinner in her house can get complicated!!

she finds easy caserole dishes or meat and veggie dishes that she can easily substitute to accomodate both girls (for example-mashed potatoes she makes plain that way her dairy allergic daughter can add ghee to hers since she’s allergic to butter-the rest of the family can use butter just fine).

are you able to make meals earlier in the week that your non-intolerant family members can eat and freeze them? that way-you can just reheat these while cooking a meal for your younger kids. as for your 12 year old-maybe not allowing her to be so picky or choosy w/her meals. I have a 9 year old and she (along w/both of her sisters) know that they have to eat what is set on the table each night-no exceptions. this will make things easier on you too!!

planning a meal calendar for the upcoming week will help alot too. I do this in my home (my hubby and I are on south beach currently so planning ahead helps w/grocery bill and time). have everyone sit down and come up with ONE meal for dinner each night (make sure you can accomodate the intolerances) for the week.

HEALTHY MEAL TIME! (epic meal time parody)

January 30th, 2012 25 comments

How NORMAL GUYS can get abs:

Let me know what you think – @MikeChangSPS on twitter

** If you liked this video please FAVORITE, LIKE, and SHARE! It will really help us a lot to introduce people to healthy eating in a funny way…thanks 🙂

Dan and I have been huge fans of the EpicMealTime YouTube channel for a while now. We love their videos…but unfortunately, we can’t eat bacon covered chocolate cake or any of the other food they cook.

So we decided to make a parody of Epic Meal Time…showing how we make our meals using the Zero Willpower Eating System.

This video is meant to be dramatized and funny…but this is actually how we cook every week in the Six Pack Shortcuts system! It works like this:

— Cook a week’s worth of healthy meals in advance (takes only 60 min including cleaning if you’ve got the system down)

— Just pop the meals in the microwave whenever you want a healthy meal!

The Zero Willpower system was a huge breakthrough for me because:

— It’s CONVENIENT…You don’t have to cook individual meals and you save a huge amount of time.

— It’s SIMPLE…once you know the 3 elements of a Zero Willpower meal, they’re easy to put together

— It’s CHEAP… You will save a ton of money by eating with the Zero Willpower system

— And most importantly…it MAKES YOU STICK TO YOUR DIET! Once you have cooked a week’s worth of healthy meals, I guarantee you’ll eat them!

If you want to learn more about how you can get lean and ripped by using the Zero Willpower Eating system, check out this free video:

**Props to epicmealtime for inspiring this video. Your videos are awesome, and we’d love to do a real collaboration sometime!

If you haven’t seen their videos, check them out at:

**Big props also to Adam Lyons for putting this video together. Adam had the idea for this video, directed it, filmed it, and edited it all himself…in one day!

Adam is recognized as the world’s top dating and relationship coach, and he’s also very creatively talented. His youtube videos are great, you can check them out at:

Atkins Diet Recipes: Low Carb Pizza Quiche (IF)

In partnership with FaveDiets ( ) recipe, I know I had previously made a quiche recipe video, but the video was made with older technology and the audio was harder to hear. Rather than the sausage of the original recipe, I made a pizza toppings quiche this time. The combination of the onions and peppers with the ground beef and pepperoni really go well together. I think you’ll like this recipe too.

1.5 pounds ground beef
1/2 small onion
1 red bell pepper
4 oz pepperoni, diced
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
6 eggs
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 tsp black pepper
8 oz Swiss cheese, shredded
Makes 8-12 servings.
