What commercial weight loss programs are vegan?

I lost 90 pounds on a "whole plant based diet" (healthy vegan), but want help in losing another 60 pounds. Are there any commercial weight loss programs that are "vegan" in nature?

Gina Kolata describes the abysmal record of the most popular programs including Weight Watchers, Atkins, and medically supervised calorie restricted diets. Her deep research indicated that the vast majority of people fail to maintain much weight loss over a period of a few years.

What commercial programs are available to vegans?

Commercial diet programs sometimes rely on pre-packaged foods. They are not commonly associated with whole foods or with plant-based foods.

Congratulations on your 90-pound weight loss! Most likely, you are now feeling much more energetic and exercising more each day. Since you have been so successful, and you have been eating plant-based whole foods, you must have been doing much of your own cooking.

I wish to start eating more healthily for the New Year and was wondering about resources for getting the perfect paleo meal plan?

There is an absolutely great little Paleo cookbook that gives you loads of paleo recipes to start your paleo meal plan.

What kind of a diet should you be on to lose weight? Any good cookbooks you would recomend?

Where can i find a meal plan of what to eat each day?

I really need to diet but im terrible at it unless iv got a meal plan type thing, where can i find one? HELP!

There are many on the internet, but don’t you find it restrictive? What if there is a party, or when you eat out?

I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs and gain better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year. I don’t have any meal plans and do not count calories, carbs, fats, proteins or points. I just eat what I feel like from these range of food : Veggies, lean meat and complex carbs.

Most delicious and No need to cook Recipe(s) for losing weight?

Can anyone provide me the most delicious diet recipe(s), which hopefully no need to cook (or light cooking)? I would like recipes includes monday to sunday, 3 meals a day. The less the preparation of the food, the more delicious of the food, the better the recipes. Please don’t only include fruits. I am a meat lover, can’t only eat fruits. Also, I don’t want to eat salad, because I am afraid of the ecoli.

OK you are asking for too much buddy! there is no such thing!

Atkins Diet Recipes: Low Carb Pizza Quiche (IF)

In partnership with FaveDiets ( ) recipe, I know I had previously made a quiche recipe video, but the video was made with older technology and the audio was harder to hear. Rather than the sausage of the original recipe, I made a pizza toppings quiche this time. The combination of the onions and peppers with the ground beef and pepperoni really go well together. I think you’ll like this recipe too.

1.5 pounds ground beef
1/2 small onion
1 red bell pepper
4 oz pepperoni, diced
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
6 eggs
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 tsp black pepper
8 oz Swiss cheese, shredded
Makes 8-12 servings.

Nutrition Info Per Serving: (8 servings)
509 Calories, 42g Fat, 4.3g Carbs (0.5g Fiber) , 26.5g Protein

If you don’t want to drink this much juice at once, please HALVE THIS RECIPE ~ and/or ~ have GLASS mason jars ready to store some of this juice for later!

* I n g r e d i e n t s *
— 1 head Celery
— 8 Carrots

* P r e p *
— 1) Run all ingredients thru your Breville juicer, or whatever the best juicer is for you.

— 2) For the portion of juice you’re drinking right now, just add ice if desired & enjoy!

— 3) Immediately pour any remaining juice into GLASS mason jars, sealed shut w/ PLASTIC lids (metal lids rust). GLASS JARS + LIDS for your JUICE can be found here: Then just keep your jars of juice in a fridge or cooler until you’re ready to drink some more! Your juice can stay very fresh this way for 2 days, 3 at the absolute most. IDEALLY, you want to drink juice RIGHT after it’s made. REALISTICALLY, not many people are able to make a fresh juice in the morning before work, nor while at work! So do the best YOU can & make JARS o’ JUICE! Can you dig it? 😀
