David Elmore Smith was 630 pounds when he met Chris Powell in June of 2003. They made a pact to show the nation that the human body can lose weight safely and naturally. Using alternating patterns of nutrition delivery, daily movement and new lifestyle patterns, David lost a remarkable 401 lbs in just over 2 years.     Well I admire David …
    Well I admire David, I can relate to him, I just wish I learned that how to lose weight the right way I have eating disorders, I find food is a comfort to me but also my enemy I have to throw up after I eat I also have harmed myself I felt that was the only way for me to survive since I had no other way out. Thanks for doing all Your doing great!

    he actually had tons of surgeries to get rid of the flabby skin.. and will bear those scars for the rest of his life… thats the downside of losing weight when you’re so obese

    He did it all himself with help from a good man. Nothing else. Believe in your own strength, don’t look for other reasons.

    I lost 100 lbs by myself in about a year. It was hard, but so so worth it.

    I’ve been abused, too. And I wasn’t my own best friend. I’m better today, though. But now I have 40 pounds overweight. People treat you different when you’re overweight. I am 63 years old, and I don’t feel like I can lose it anymore.
