How to stay Motivated/Dedicated When on a Weight Loss Journey?

December 14th, 2012 Leave a comment Go to comments

Ive decided to start a weight loss journey, im planning on running 2 miles everyday, how do I keep doing this because I used to give up a lot when doing this previously.

Doing the right things and getting results will help you stay motivated.

The best way to lose weight is by losing body fat. For a great 12 day fat burning program go to the Fat X 101 website. The program consists of the Fat X Diet and specialized fat burning workouts.

Basically, you want to eat certain foods and workout in a specific way to speed up the process.

Good luck to you! Once you start seeing the results, it just motivates you to keep going and the weight loss / fat loss and fitness journey gets easier.

A good thing to do is get a friend, and run with them, get motavational suppourt from friends and family. And if you run two miles a day you will be in great shape my friend! Just make sure you eat lean meat and veggies, fruit etc; when going on a weight loss journey make sure to STAY AWAY FROM JUNK FOOD, SODA, etc. I know from personal experiance, they mess your diet up. Most of all of these: stay focused on now. If you stay focused on how well your going to look in the future you will lose sight of the hardship of the present. Make sure that you push yourself to your limit, you grow stronger that way.

    Good Luck!

** You should try drinking 8 to 16ounces of water before each meal, this will fill you up and you will eat less, resulting in less calories every meal. ( hence the weight loss ) it worked for me I lost 50 puonds in three years and kept them off , I also walk for 20 minutes at least 5 times a week. Patience is needed,, if you want quick, this is not it, better to lose slowly than to fast ( your skin will hang and that is so ugly, you will have to hide it. Well good luck too you, hope this helps. P. S. I am in my 50’s which is why it took so long, if you are younger, it will probably go much quicker.

What i did, always CHECK the MIRROR and be truthful to yourself… i look at myself and go "DAYM, Look at that chunk of FAT right there! I’mma LOSE IT! Imagine how sexy I would turn out ;]"… that’s how i shed 60 lbs so far, still trying to count but things are harder after you already lost a chunk or so – all the ‘easy’ shedding is gone and now I have to do something different to lose some more, if you know what i mean. Not to say, also WHILE losing weight, the amount of weight you lost and PEOPLE around you who notices and appluad you WILL MOTIVATE you for sure. I get happy and excited when people notices and are ‘amaze’ and ask about it, it makes me want to go on and lose some more. :]

**BTW, 2 miles is like DAYMM, lol, on a happy lively day most I would do is 1 mile only. Don’t set the standards TOO HIGH, as you might fall back and give in AGAIN – know what I mean. :]
