Heed all disclaimers! This wasn’t the easiest of a video to do…no one likes talking about their own imperfections but hopefully you guys can see that Im not immune to gaining weight. I know I wasnt *heavy* but I knew I could be better. Its not about being skinny, its about being the very best version of yourself that you can possibly be. And for me (personally) thats not really skinny- i think I looked like an emaciated lollipop in that photo.

Dont give up! It takes awhile to figure out what works and what doesnt for you. Its frustrating at times but just enjoy the journey and be proud of how far youve come 🙂

PS. I really cant give a good answer to generic work out questions. These kind of videos always spark a flurry of “I want to lose weight what should I do?” type of questions. Theres no secret- eat clean, stay active, drink water and lots of rest!

I have videos already detailing my meals- but I do eat out and eat what I want on weekends (minus breakfast which I keep clean)

    I dont do as much …
    I dont do as much as other people since I do HIIT but an hour and a half is completely overkill unless youre just one of those long distance runners and thats your thing. But from a weight loss? stand point any cardio over 1 hour is too much. I would really just look at your diet and what you can improve since my guess is thats where your problem is

    What kind of cardio are you doing? That may give me some insight too, but no I dont recommend any more cardio as thats already too much

    No I dont- thats mostly for men who use to gain mass and some women use them as meal replacements but I dont recommend doing that. I know I personally would never get full off? a protein shake. Haha

    jackie! please do a clubbing makeup video or a get ready with me? to go clubbing with makeup and outfit! i loved your last picture from the fitness journy with you in the black dress and your makeup was gorgeous! also, it seems like you go clubbing quite a bit so it? seems like youd have helpful tips!

    I know you say you did a lot of cardio, but what would you consider a lot? I am of a similar height to you, and I go to the gym every other day and I mainly do cardio for about an hour and a half each time. Do you think increasing the amount of cardio I do will help with more? effective weight loss? x

    Hi Jackie!? I really love your videos and I think they are so informational and relate-able!! I am a dancer too but my biggest problem area is my stomach. I do a lot of planks and crunches and my upper abdomen is really strong and muscley but my lower abs are still pretty fatty 😛 I eat a lot tho… hehee… and I dont diet because I am in my healthy/underweight area for my height (5′ 1”) What do you recommend I do?

    Well completely may be impossible- I think people really underestimate the power of their genetics and overestimate the powers of diet and exercise. The only thing to slim it down really is? cardio and a better diet as you cant target fat loss

    Im a big carbs lover too! I think its important to not deny yourself anything- I still eat carbs just a? smaller amount. I try to fill up on things like veggies and protein during the week and 3-4 meals on the weekend I really eat what I want. Having really unreasonable diets is what sets up most people to fail and binge eat. Also I’d try to learn what a true portion is- with yummy things like pasta its easy to eat your weight in the stuff LOL

    Its really give and take- yes youll probably lose on your bust but you either keep the bust and the fat or lose somewhere. I’d try leaning down and see what you would prefer- you may remain fuller in the bust area than you? think.

    Squats will help you keep your butt- If you already have a butt you’re probably genetically inclined to growing one- which makes it 10X easier. Its nearly impossible for people who arent inclined to have a “big” one.

    No I definitely think the american? diet is an unhealthy one- I think also in Europe (when I visited) everyone really enjoys their meals and takes time to enjoy life. Also the food and everything is so fresh. In the US everyone is always rushing from one thing to the next- so I think it encourages bad food choices :/

    And if you do squats at the gym you can definitely improve its appearance! Even if youre not genetically inclined 🙂

    Cardio -30 mins but I do HIIT
    Hot yoga is anywhere from 1-15 hours but some days? i do two classes in a row
    And gym…with cardio takes maybe 90 mins. But thats because my ab exercises take 30 mins because im a baby and hate doing abs haha (and I dont have a very strong core so I have to take abs slow)

    So ive looked in to this myself when I was trying to help a friend get in to exercising and although? you cant expect a JLO booty squats will definitely help you improve the look and “cusp” as I like to call it of your butt 🙂 But really big Kim K and JLO bootys are usually a genetics thing

    LOL I thought they were much bigger there! My legs are definitely one of my problem areas (thighs more than calves) but its mostly a? genetics thing- pilates and yoga help a lot but you do have to have realistic expectations

    I think the problem …
    I think the problem is in “trying to lose weight fast’ and “dieting”. You cant commit to a short term crash diet and expect long term results. You have to be committed to eating healthy and exercising regularly. It doesnt mean you cant eat out or eat fattening things- but something has to give.

    When I was in school id just pack all my own? lunches and snacks- that way I wouldnt waste money on the fatty food on campus. Its not exciting but that way my cheat meals would be worth the calories lol

    Pilates and yoga are both good for leaning down muscle 🙂 you do have to have somewhat realistic expectations though. Im a pear too and thats just kind of a? genetics thing usually

    Im so glad! Most people would honestly be less hungry if they drank more water. I drink almost 2L a day (or I try to) since thats only slightly more than whats recommended. But I personally hate BB cream btw- it makes me break out really badly. Ived tried 7 different? kinds and I wont touch anymore because of how bad they make me break out.

    I dont even get small pimples, its full blown cystic acne. I think the stuff SOUNDS nice but i never heard of it making anyones skin better

    haha, i love how you have the genetics that every guy wants his gf to have almost but not the genetics u want xP
    I have a couple of friends that are naturally really slender and they have to kill themselfs to get near to my size(im naturally quite bigger then them even tho we were the same height). Just remember theyll always be someone out there that wants your genetics/build, so be happy bout what you have :D? and mold it to your best liking. ^__^
