    You’re definitely correct when you say that. I’m eating the wrong foods. I learned this from Dr. Joel Fuhrman in his book “Eat to Live”. The foods that keep you nourished are the ones that are high nutrient foods with a lower caloric density. His formula for health is nutrients over calories. Nutrients should be greater than the calories you’re consuming. For example, white flour (hardly any nutrients,no fiber) but can add up? to a lot of calories. And then those lack of calories lead to a binge.

    I don’t think it’s in your head; it’s your diet.? Your diet can create the need to binge. Try raw and you’ll find your body gets re-nourished, your body will not tolerate a binge.

    that as my outlook …
    that as my outlook on myself and my self-worth and my outlook on the? world changes, so will my body. I’ve learned that focusing on HEALTH rather than aesthetics and losing weight to look hot is important so I’m going to focus on that – I’m going to try and make everyday? a day to work towards building more health in my body and treating my body well. 🙂

    I’m going to start …
    I’m going to start including more fruits and veggies (more of a whole foods diet) into my diet. I’m a vegan already but I don’t always eat? the best as I can… I still eat white bread, white flour, oils, and other fattening stuff which is keeping the weight on me. But, to be honest, I’ve known this for a long time (that going low fat vegan will help me lose weight) – I just haven’t come to applying it even after knowing it for a long time. I think that’s where the depression comes in and I think

    I have depression …
    I have depression and anxiety now and I’m 18 (so like around the time you had it). I have caught myself at times binge eating (sometimes out of boredom and sometimes it’s emotional eating). I went to a psychiatrist a few weeks ago who diagnosed me and I’m starting cognitive behavioural therapy on Monday as my therapy. I? do think that changing my diet will also relieve my depression and definitely changing my overall attitude and thoughts will help a lot. I’m practicing positive affirmations &
