What is the best way to speed up weight loss during fasting?

I am aware that weight may be gained back after fasting ceases and that it may be very unhealthy for such quick weight loss, but I really need to know this information. Please, no criticism or instructions towards a "healthy diet".
Thanks.

You may want to take mineral supplementation. Fasting is actually healthy and a lot of people do it regularly as a great way to detox, so the implication it wouldn’t be shows you have been misinformed and given a bunch of fluff. Assuming you have enough fat stored to burn up as energy, you should know that the only thing stopping your body from using it is the fact it lacks the right nutrients or catalysts to get that process going. Minerals have no calories so you can actually fast while supplementing yourself and you would still be technically fasting.

High water consumption during fasting is essential. It takes 20 molecules of water to burn down 1 molecule of fat, that having been said, high water consumption may deplete you of minerals since you will be peeing a lot and again this is where minerals become important again.

Taking some vitamins such as vitamin C which is a known diuretic wouldn’t be such a bad idea either. If you supplement yourself well enough chances are you will feel more energized and you will have plenty of energy to exercise and get your metabolism going so you’ll burn all the fat, assuming the purpose of the fasting is weight loss.

Hope this helped

The pattern for losing weight is not difficult – eat less and exercise more often – the problems surface when we in reality try to put that into operation! There are loads of temptations out there don’t you think?! I uncovered some good help by following the site in the box below, they have loads of tips, I melted away 6 pounds by following their techniques.

I heard that cinnamon can boost your metabolism to do like 3 times the work.
And I think cayenne pepper does the same. But that’s a lot harder to eat if you don’t have food to put it in.

I think if you just have 1/4 to 1 teaspoon of cinnamon it works, it’s also easier to eat plain..just put it in your mouth and chase it with water.

I’ve done it before and I lost a lot of weight but I don’t think that was main cause. And I don’t know if it’s scientifically proven or anything, it’s just stuff on the internet.

Hey Stac, I really like the comments you left, ppl here on this site can jump to cruel conclusions and harsh judgements. I stop coming for that reason, however, I was checking on my points and your question caught my eye. Well, taking into account what you already know, you could do this: make sure you deficate quite often. Since your fasting you think, you have nothing to release, but you still need to go, and again, often. Warm prune juice will do the trick. Drink plenty of water because this will make you dehydrate. You probably need to stay home too.

First of all, what you’re doing is NOT unhealthy, and it was NOT wise of you to start on this "diet" thinking that it was harmful.

I don’t know if my story would be of any help to you but I’ll give it a shot 🙂

Let me take you about 3 years back to January 5th, 2007. This is the day that I found out that I had Acute Leukemia. I was 15 years old.

I’ve always been big into nutrition. Ever since I was about 8, I’ve felt that the human body is amazing and wanted to know everything it’s capable of.

I remembered reading somewhere about cases of cancer patients unintentionally fasting because they were too weak to eat, and because of it, diminishing their trace of abnormal cancer cells. Patients had been put on intentional water fasts and almost all of them had been completely cured. The others saw a dramatic improvement but their cancer was too severe for the body to completely repair itself.

Anyways, almost immediately I started a fast. Water. Nothing else. No toothpaste, no nail bitings, NOTHING that could be ingested and disrupt the "detox" or repairing properties of a fast.

The first two days were full of tummy grumbles. I had IBS so I got nauseous from my stomach acids jumping around in there lol.

Before I go any further, my doctor highly disproved of water fasting for longer than 3 days. But I expected that. In my opinion, anyone working for the government is after money, not your safety or general well-being.

For the first 10 days, I did enemas each morning to help with the "detoxing" of my liver and shizzzz. I hate the insertion part, but everything following it is great lol.

After day 3, my tummy grumbles stopped completely.

Side Note: I drank like 200 oz. of water a day. It’s NOT necessary. Again: Tons of water is NOT necessary. Get in your 6-8 cups and you’re good. However, I do suggest a bottle of SmartWater every other day to replenish electrolytes (the biggest concern people have with long-term fasting.)

On days 10-18, I broke up in pimples. Cute, right? But it’s a detox symptom. Your body rids itself of "toxins" through sweat, urine/fecal matter and through the skin in the form of acne.

Days 19-42 were easy. I got a colonic on day 34, 35, 38 and 39. That in itself caused a weight loss of 12 pounds.

On day 43, I broke my water fast with 4 oz. of organic diluted carrot juice.

If you’re wondering about weight, I lost 56 pounds, putting me at 104 pounds, standing 5’5.

I have not gained any weight back because I’ve eating properly.

On to the medical reason for fasting… I told my Oncologist what I did and he was not happy. I told him that I’d felt more energized and alert and I was in virtually no pain as opposed to the constant aching I’d experienced before the fast.

He did my blood work. a few EKG’s and your average "check-up" things like blood pressure at that visit. About a week later, I got a call asking me to come into his office because he wanted to talk to me.

Scared out of my mind that I’d been the "exception" to cures and fasting, and had actually FURTHERED my Leukemia, tried to remain calm.

I went into his office expecting to be granted 2 months to live. He greeted me and my father with a smile and—long story short—he explained that there are NO signs that I ever had Leukemia, asthma, type 2 diabetes OR chronic eczema. He compared me to a clean slate. I had virtually NO medical conditions.

On top of this MIRACLE, ever since those acne detox symptoms passed on day 20, I no longer suffer from severe acne. I don’t even break out. EVER. I have not had ONE zit in 3 years.

I was clinically depressed and suicidal. I haven’t felt even remotely close to that in forever!

Fasting saved my life and I hate that it gets a bad rep.

I hope I shined some light on how amazing our bodies are <3

    God bless you

PS: If you’re truly interested in water fasting and it’s benefits, I suggest "Fasting and Eating for Health" by Joel Fuhrman. It’s the equivalent to the Bible for me.
